Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Risen. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Risen mobile application and website ("Platform"), operated by Arianext Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. User Eligibility

  • 1.1 Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
  • 1.2 Personal Use Only: Risen is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You may book services only for yourself or close family members with their consent.
  • 1.3 Authorized Payment Method: All payments must be made using a payment method that belongs to you. You agree not to use any debit/credit card or UPI account without proper authorization.
  • 1.4 Account Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity conducted through your account.
  • 1.5 Accurate Information: You must provide truthful and complete information when booking services.
  • 1.6 Misuse and Violations: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we detect misuse, fraudulent activity, or violations of these Terms.

2. Services Offered

  • Mass Booking: Book Mass services at partnered churches.
  • Prayer Requests: Submit free prayer intentions.
  • All services are subject to church availability and operational capacity.

3. Bookings & Payments

  • All bookings must be made via the Risen app or website.
  • Payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
  • We do not store any credit/debit card or UPI information.
  • Payment processing is subject to Razorpay’s terms of service.

4. Cancellations, Refunds & Rescheduling

  • 4.1 No Cancellation Policy: Once a Mass is booked and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled.
  • 4.2 Rescheduling: Requests may be accepted based on availability. Contact support at least 7 days in advance.
  • 4.3 No Refunds: All bookings are non-refundable. In case of errors or double booking, contact support to reschedule.
  • 4.4 Technical Failures: If payment is made but booking fails, Razorpay will refund the amount within 7–10 working days.
  • 4.5 Failed Bookings: If no suitable reschedule is possible, a full refund will be provided.

5. User Conduct

  • Do not use the Platform for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the app.
  • Do not upload false or misleading information.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software associated with Risen is the property of Risen or its licensors. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or use is strictly prohibited.

7. Prayer Request Terms

  • The Prayer Request feature is a free service.
  • We aim to fulfill requests promptly but no guaranteed timeframe is provided.
  • Fulfillment depends on church availability and religious constraints.
  • Confirmation will be sent via app or email.

8. Privacy and Data Handling

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on:

  • Data we collect (e.g., name, contact, booking details)
  • How we use and share your data (e.g., with churches and Razorpay)
  • Security measures in place
  • Your rights to access or delete your data
  • Cookie and analytics practices
  • We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13

9. App Store & Play Store Compliance

  • We collect only essential data needed to deliver services.
  • We do not store payment data; it is securely handled by Razorpay.
  • We comply with Apple and Google developer policies including data safety and transparency.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes implies your acceptance.

11. Changes to Pricing

  • We reserve the right to update service fees.
  • Users will be notified in advance via the app.
  • Fee changes will not apply retroactively.
  • You may cancel services before the next charge if you disagree with the new pricing.

12. Governing Law and Arbitration

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Disputes will be resolved via arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
  • Arbitration venue: Chennai, India.
  • Language: English
  • Courts in Chennai have exclusive jurisdiction for unresolved matters.

13. Digital Admissibility

You agree that a digital copy of these Terms is legally admissible in court, equivalent to a paper document.
